I took my snare drum into the wonderfully echoey parking garage of my building to record the reverb. Included are samples recorded from varying distances and positions. Also included are dry versions, recorded in a living room and a super-dry elevator. When used in a production, try mixing in the heavily reverbed snares against the dry ones to fit your taste. Also the reverb snares work well mixed under even unrelated percussions to add a neat ambiance. The same goes for my "stairwell foot stomps" sample set. Recorded 24-bit stereo with a sony pcm-d50. Assisted by matt mcgowin.

808 drum sounds played through an orange amplifiers "micro crush" miniamp recorded for stereo ambiance in the original batcave. These work well as drum layers under more conventional sounds, and in other creative ways. Recording assisted by steve and mikro.

Dull metallic clangs, possibly caused by drumming on a folding metal chair. Recorded from a few feet away, so there is moderate room reverb.

Superball scrape on timpani drum head. Special fx. Try running through some guitar fx or long reverb. Reverse for added fun!.

This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

I used some native americans recording, erased the drums, pitched them down, added big reverb.

The package contains several 909 snare samples combined with real recorded snares, processed with eq saturation and compression. There's a dry version and one where reverb was added of every shot. The sounds were originally created for a drum n bass track.
